Community Transport is a national charity operating 11 transport-related projects countrywide and have 130 paid employees, and a pool of over 200 volunteers and trainees providing thousands of hours of support to local communities every year.
In order to meet the changing needs of diverse communities we continually review what we do and develop new services and activities based on consultation with local people. We are especially keen on working in partnership with other agencies to promote social inclusion; to pioneer new transport services; to enable access to work and leisure; and to contribute to the recycling agenda. We would be pleased to talk to you about how we can be of service.
We believe that transport, recycling/ re-use and training services play a crucial role in addressing social inequality and empowering individuals and communities to solve problems and realise untapped potential.
We are committed to a business-like and enterprising approach that sustains worthwhile work and volunteering opportunities and achieves real and measurable social change.
