At Community Transport, we support people in our community who may need extra help to build confidence, develop life skills, and move forward in their lives.
Our training and support programmes are designed for people who may be facing barriers to work or independence. This includes people with autism, learning disabilities, or those whose confidence has been affected by difficult life events.
We provide a safe, supportive and understanding environment where people can learn, develop and take positive next steps.
Our focus is on practical life skills that help people feel more capable and independent. This can include:
Communication and teamwork
Routine and responsibility
Travel confidence and independence
Workplace readiness
Social skills and community engagement
We work at each person’s pace, recognising individual strengths and supporting personal goals.
For many people, their journey with us is a stepping stone towards volunteering or employment.
We help individuals to:
Gain confidence in structured environments
Develop transferable skills
Build a sense of purpose
Get used to workplace expectations
Feel ready to move into volunteering or paid work
Success looks different for everyone — and we celebrate every step forward.
We understand that life events can knock confidence and make it harder to move forward. Our team offers encouragement, patience and practical support to help people rebuild self-belief.
Our aim is simple: to help people feel more confident, more included, and more in control of their future.
