Christmas Tree Collection
Finished with your real Christmas tree? Let us take it away. On 4, 5 and 6 January 2027, our team will collect trees from homes across Newcastle, Gateshead, North and South Tyneside and parts of Northumberland. Every tree is recycled responsibly, and your donation supports Community Transport’s work across the North East. Prefer to drop it off yourself? Bring it to The Grand, Byker on Thursday 7 January.

Book online
Choose your area and postcode, then make your donation. Your collection day is set by where you live.
Put it out
Have your tree outside by 7:00am on your collection day, with all decorations, stands and pots removed.
We collect
Our team will pick it up during the day and make sure it’s recycled responsibly.
Your Donation
We ask for a suggested donation of £20 per tree for home collection, or £10 per tree at our drop-off day at The Grand, Byker. Your donation covers the cost of collecting your tree and helps fund the work Community Transport does every day to keep local people connected, supported and independent.
