Community Transport has a long history of providing non-emergency patient transport services across the North West, West Midlands and North East of England areas.

In 2015, CT ran a six-month trial for West Midlands Ambulance Service to support the transport of renal patients living in Balsall Heath Birmingham, to and from their dialysis appointments. The trial proved highly successful and we were allocated more routes. We now manage eight routes, spread across Coventry, Birmingham and Bilston branches. We serve Walsgrave in Coventry, and Castle Vale, Balsall Heath and Woodgate Valley in Birmingham.

We operate these services six days a week, between 5:30 am till 8:00 pm, patients travel on alternate days, e.g. Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and our professionally trained and experienced drivers pick them up from their homes and take them into their allocated centre for treatment. We provide a morning and afternoon transport service; transporting two sets of patients per day.

Our experience running the service has ensured that we fulfil many health, safety and cleanliness criteria. We can safeguard our passengers and ensure their health is a top priority.
