Across the charity we provide four core services. (For details of which of these are provided in your local area click on the link to your local branch opposite.)
This service is focussed on voluntary and community sector groups and individuals facing barriers to conventional services. The charity fleet consists of 65 (mostly wheelchair accessible) minibuses. Our services meet social travel needs by enabling local people to participate fully in their chosen activity or interest.
Furniture Recycling and Re-use
The aim of this service is to provide facilities for local people to donate good quality furniture which can be made available to others in the community. This reduces waste and recycles resources for the benefit of the environment and the community.
If you have any items of furniture that you wish to donate or would like to make a purchase we can pick up or deliver items for you. We also offer: House clearance and removals; Furniture storage; Testing of electrical items
We have built up an excellent reputation for delivering high quality training, skills development and providing work experience to local people. Our training includes aspects of retailing and warehousing and supports safer driving practice for minibus drivers.
We have a variety of volunteer roles available, including driving, administration, customer service, merchandising, and retailing. Training will be given where needed and out of pocket expenses will be paid.
