Community Transport Wolverhampton

Working together with the citizens of Wolverhampton, our vision is one of a sustainable and enterprising organisation working with our Communities to meet needs and create opportunities.  To achieve this vision we are continually striving to add value and quality to all the services we provide.  We remain focussed on not losing sight of the needs of the citizens we provide services for.  To help achieve these aims we are:

•    A committed partner of the Wolverhampton Compact
•    ISO 9001: 2000 registered organisation
•    A member of the board of the Wolverhampton Voluntary Sector Council

Wolverhampton Community Transport has 4 core areas of activity:-

Furniture Recycling and Re-use Services

At our Barton Park showroom we offer a wide variety of household furniture items for you to browse or purchase.  Our friendly and helpful staff will be on hand to arrange either collection or delivery at a time to suit you and by using our service you will:

•    Get reasonably priced furniture to turn your house into a home
•    Your donation of furniture will prevent re-usable furniture going to land fill
•    Help us to help others in the community

Other furniture services we offer are:

•    Removals
•    House clearances
•    Bereavement clearances
•    Office furniture.

Minibus services

Our fleet of vehicles are available to our affiliated user groups to promote social inclusion so that transport no longer becomes a barrier against participation.  All our drivers are trained to a high standard and hold a current Criminal Records Bureau certificate.  If your group is not currently an affiliated organisation to Wolverhampton Community Transport please speak to our Operations Manager, Lisa Kidd on how to become a member.  If you would prefer to self drive you to can also access our minibuses although you will need to attend one of our MiDAS (Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme) courses to be able to hire a vehicle.  Our fleet consists of both accessible and non accessible vehicles.  We can also assist in providing costing for funding bids for transport.

For further details on charges please contact Lisa Kidd either by phone 01902 496010 or e-mail lisa.kidd@communitytransport.org
