Passenger transport services in Newcastle upon Tyne, Gateshead & North Tyneside. We promote social inclusion and build stronger communities by helping more people to access shops, services and job opportunities.
Minibus hire
Community and voluntary groups can hire our buses and can use either our drivers or save more money by having their own drivers trained. We are committed to providing safe transport at affordable prices, and therefore all drivers of CT minibuses must be trained to nationally recognised MiDAS standards.

Contracted minibus services
Our minibuses help people to get out and about and take part in a range of social and educational activities. Our purpose built vehicles are comfortable and fully accessible, with user friendly steps and a passenger lift. Our drivers are professional and friendly and deliver the highest standards of passenger care
In partnership with Nexus, Age UK Newcastle and the Quality of Life Partnership, we provide a fortnightly shopping run for older people. Minibuses pick people up from home and take them to a local supermarket. This service costs £3 but carers travel free.
We are looking for further opportunities to work in partnership with 3rd Sector and statutory bodies to meet needs and improve life chances for disadvantaged groups and individuals across Newcastle, Gateshead and North Tyneside. For all contract enquiries, please ring Irene Brown on 0191 265 9267.

Volunteering
Whether you are looking for something rewarding to do with your leisure time, would like to develop your confidence or need work experience, we have a volunteer role for you. We are happy to accept whatever time you have to offer and out of pocket expenses will be paid.
In particular, due to the high demand from the community for our minibus services we are looking for volunteer drivers, especially if you have D1 entitlement on your licence and are happy to have a CRB check. Contact Irene Brown if you would like to hear more.
