It was a year of transformation for Salford Project:
• Strong links and partnerships with Social Services, the PCT, GMPTE and others
• A joint venture with the City Council, NDC to manage a minibus for the area
• The expansion of the DRT Local Link by year end
• A modern fleet of vehicles suited to the needs of our local community
• Funds from GMCT Trust Fund for a MiDAS Trainer

Outputs have soared:
• Over 25,000 passengers to over 2000 destinations
• 20,000 Local Link passenger trips
• 160 affiliations
• 114 drivers MIDAS trained
• Furniture collections from 859 homes and . . .
• . . . deliveries to over 900 . . . and 75 removals

It's a record of achievement in meeting social needs, but not just that - by collecting items of reusable furniture we're taking it out of the waste stream and ultimately providing a benefit to the local environment.
