New Project
During the year, CT was invited by Oldham MBC to take
on a consultancy contract to review and re-organise the
transport activities of Oldham Disability Alliance with a
view to creating a new community transport agency for
the Borough. The services included Promobility scooter
hire - a first for the Charity - and a small dial-a -ride for
disabled people. The Council were also keen on
developing group transport and making the links with
other transport needs. By year end we had secured
OMBC, Big Lottery Fund and GMPTE grants to develop
a new Project within the Charity to run these services in
the new financial year.
