At Community Transport Manchester there are 18 minibuses, which include 10 accessible minibuses, and 14 with PCV licences.
Highlights of 2004/5
The main news of the year is that the Community Minibus Agency merged with Community Transport to become Community Transport Manchester. This has been a positive move and added security to the future of community transport in Manchester.
Community Transport Manchester saw the movement of offices from an old building with one room with limited parking space, to a new office in a more central location in Manchester with ample parking space. 2005 will see more security and fencing added to secure the area.
A successful funding bid was secured to fund a Community Participation Officer for 1 year. The research and development position will allow the Manchester Project to develop new contacts in the North Manchester area and identify possible new funding streams.
