Transport Services

Our 6 accessible minibuses

  • transport older people to day care centres
  • provide transport for older people who want to purchase day opportunities through their personalised budget payments
  • support statutory transport for school children

We are supported with funding from Coventry Older People's Commissioning and Route Forward to help deliver these worth while services to users.

Our ACTIVE Volunteer Car Scheme

ACTIVE Transport for Vulnerable and Isolated Older People 60+ living within Coventry

Voluntary drivers using their own vehicles to provide transport for vulnerable and isolated older people to be able to access all NHS medical appointments, including GP's, medical centres and University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire (subject to criteria and availability).

ACTIVE Transport for Stroke Survivors and their Carers living within Coventry

Voluntary drivers providing transport for stroke survivors and their carers to attned NHS medical appointments including GP's and hospital.  The project also provides transport to rehabilitation classes and support groups enabling stroke survivors to cope with their limited mobility and provide support to their families. 

The office is open to register, book journeys or general enquiries Monday to Thursday 9.30am - 4pm and Friday 9.30am - 3pm.

Furniture Service
  • We have 2 goods vehicles that collect and deliver donated furniture that is on sale in our furniture shop. 
  • We sell many electrical items such as televisions, DVD recorders, lamps etc which have all been safety tested.
Training Services

We deliver MIDAS, minibus driver training, and other transport related training to community groups and statutory bodies in Coventry. This is co-ordinated by our West Midlands training team based in Birmingham.  For further details see our training webpage or contact John Griffin on 0121 702 0824/5.
