CT Coventry
In Coventry, as well as minibus group travel, we run 2 pay-for-use services for older people with mobility difficulties:
The Active Volunteer Car Scheme is a service where trained volunteers use their own cars to take people to medical appointments, for shopping and other purposes. The cost is 50p per mile travelled and 25p for each mile getting to and from where we pick you up - plus a small booking fee. The service is supported by the Coventry Older People's Partnership. Active Minibus is a pay-for-use service that is funded purely through passenger fares, using our wheelchair accessible minibus and a trained driver. CT Solihull
Our resources in Solihull come from the Big Lottery Fund - and enable us to run 4 wheelchair accessible minibuses for group travel and contract services.

Volunteers
We're always grateful to the dedicated people who volunteer on a daily, weekly or even yearly basis! Volunteers take on a variety of roles and are highly valued in our organisation, and are therefore treated with the same respect as paid members of staff. We are always happy to take on and train new volunteers, especially if you have a D1 driving licence. Contact the team in Garrison St to find out more.
